You can check out the progress next week at the Javits Center: The ultimate K-food event, Kosherfest, will convene over 400 booths Tuesday and Wednesday. These kind of shows are aimed at food-service and restaurant-biz types, which is exactly what makes them so interesting — you get to pose long, detailed questions to people who are happy to talk to you. Given how complicated kosher food can be, this should be a veritable yeshiva of food.
