Back in January, Sandi Toksvig announced her decision to leave the Great British Bake Off after three years of co-hosting the baking competition with comedian Noel Fielding. Now, we know who’s replacing her: actor and comedian Matt Lucas.
Lucas is best known in the U.K. for co-creating the BBC sketch comedy series Little Britain and appearing as the character Nardole on Doctor Who. Stateside, he famously played one half of a weird brother-sister duo alongside Rebel Wilson in 2011’s Bridesmaids.
According to Deadline, Lucas will start filming the 11th season of Bake Off with Fielding and judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith this spring.
