During last night’s Democratic debate, presidential nominee Pete “Mayor Pete” Buttigieg came under fire for recently hosting a fundraiser in a California wine cave. You may be asking yourself all sorts of questions like, “Why would anyone in their right mind go into a cave?” (It’s not actually a cave!) Or maybe, “Isn’t this a plot from a spy thriller about a nefarious politician?” But definitely, “Isn’t this why the Democrats lost last time …?”
