Awards! Everyone loves them. Today, the James Beard Foundation announced the nominees for both its chef and restaurant awards, as well as the contenders for this year’s book, television, and journalism awards. The media winners will be announced at a ceremony will take place on Friday, April 26 at Pier Sixty in Manhattan, while the chef awards are set for Monday, May 6 in Chicago. Congratulations to all the nominees (especially those in the Grub Street and New York family). Here they are:
