Watch This Heroic Effort Creating SNL’s ‘15-Flavor Taco’

Serious fans of Saturday Night Live parody ads have a special place for 2005’s “Pizza Crêpe Taco Pancake Chili Bag,” and that special place is anywhere but their stomachs. Andy Samberg, Jason Sudeikis, and Bill Hader play a trio of bros thrilled by Taco Town’s new “15-flavor” edible harbinger of death: An all-in-one taco/tamale/crêpe/pizza/pancake thingy that comes in its own commemorative tote bag (that’s filled with chili). It’s so absurd, yet also feels one bad pitch meeting shy of an actual Taco Bell product.

Now, it’s something else, too: A food you can make at home, if you follow the detailed how-to from Andrew Rea’s popular YouTube series Binging With Babish. To really go all out for his 1 millionth subscriber, he found a way to successfully incorporate all of Taco Town’s “Mexican, French, Italian, and American layers into one beer-battered monstrosity,” the Pizza Crêpe Taco Pancake Chili Bag.

He says he had to deep-fry it for “about 25 minutes”:

Sudeikis is right: Tacos cannot get any more kick-butt than this.
