James Beard Foundation Announces 2017 Media Award Nominees

Today, the James Beard Foundation announced its nominees for this year’s Books, Broadcast, and Journalism awards. Among the chef-authors, critics, editors, videographers, and writers nominated are Vivian Howard for Deep Run Roots, Fuchsia Dunlop for Land of Fish and Rice, and Peter Meehan of (the possibly soon to fold) Lucky Peach. The winners will be announced on April 25 at a ceremony in New York City. Check out the complete lineup, and congrats to all the nominees:
