Domino’s R&D team has really been going for the convenience factor lately, whether that’s push-for-pizza buttons or delivery cars with their own ovens, but this probably goes a bit too far: A paper in Liverpool, England, reports that a customer alerted city authorities on Friday after receiving a pizza with a card attached offering “weed, MDMA, pills, ket, raw coke & much more.” The order was delivered around 9 p.m., and the card, which came tucked into the side of the box, was simply signed “Smokey,” a customer-service–oriented dealer who listed two different numbers where people are encouraged to “get on me, drop offs all night.”
The Echo says these calling cards have been popping up on pizza orders around town since November. Not surprisingly, the delivery driver has been suspended from work and is under police investigation.
