Daniel Humm and Will Guidara aren’t slowing down. The duo, who made their names at their fine-dining temple Eleven Madison Park, have announced they will open a restaurant in Westfield World Trade Center complex. The unnamed project is their first in New York outside of midtown, and will occupy a 7,000-square-foot ground-floor space of 3 World Trade Center, complete with views of the Oculus. It adds more culinary clout to a development already home to branches of Eataly and Épicerie Boulud. This isn’t the only project Humm and Guidara have on their hands. They’re opening a branch of the NoMad in Los Angeles, a fast-casual spot called Made Nice in Midtown, and a two-story “Four Seasons on steroids.” This latest venture will open sometime before that two-floor behemoth of a restaurant, which is slated to be completed in 2019.
