Whole Foods Columbus Circle Is Now Selling Chopped Cheeses

That didn’t take long. The most controversial hyper-regional New York sandwich of 2016 has reportedly shown up at, of all places, Whole Foods’ Columbus Circle location. The sandwich is being sold from a kiosk called Cart 1492 for $8, roughly twice as much as it costs at the typical bodega, and the irony of this has not, it appears, been lost on anyone.
