Mario Batali is back today with a stand-alone cooking show, and he’s gone back to the basics this time. Moltissimo, as the biweekly series is called, will please fans of Batali’s long-departed Food Network show Molto Mario. Granted, Batali is cooking at Vice’s Brooklyn headquarters, and there’s a Microsoft Surface ad, but everything else is basically the same, right down to the celebrity pals sipping vino while Batali hand-grinds pesto and waxes poetic on the life of Italian peasant food.
