You wouldn’t accuse a man who voluntarily joins forces with Donald Trump of having good taste, exactly. But even still, this is pretty bad. Over the weekend, Indiana governor and new Trump running mate Mike Pence was in New York, and, while here, he did what so many other misguided tourists do: He passed up the city’s vast array of incredible restaurants and instead ate at a Chili’s. Twitter reacted predictably. This probably isn’t quite as embarrassing as that time John Kasich devoured a platter of deli meats in a most untoward fashion, but Pence might still want to work on his table manners.
