Junior’s Scion Walter Rosen Has Died

Photo: Junior’s

It was just this week, when Hillary Clinton stopped by Junior’s and stared longingly at cheesecake, that she reminded America of the restaurant’s enduring legacy. Walter Rosen, whose father started Junior’s in 1950, is much to credit for that — he worked at, and eventually ran, the restaurant, which his sons now oversee. He died at age 81, and his son Alan says he was a “guiding force, our consigliere.”
