Proof that dreams come true? Tim Burton’s gothic films — Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland — are serving as the inspiration for a new East Village bar called Beetle House. Owners Zach Neil and Brian Link are opening it at 308 East Sixth Street within the next few weeks, and their menu includes a whiskey drink called “It’s Showtime,” a bison burger called “Edward Burger Hands,” and a side dish of “Charlie Corn Bucket.” Expect to hear “Day-O” and “Jump in the Line” on repeat — practice your dance moves and levitation skills accordingly.
