That’s the question up for debate on this week’s edition of the Grub Street Podcast, which finds Grub editor Alan Sytsma and New York restaurant critic Adam Platt headed to High Street on Hudson for one of the most serious sandwich taste tests of all time. Maybe that’s overselling it a little, but still: lots of sandwiches, one of which earns Platt’s coveted — though rarely awarded — ranking of 17 stars.
