At this point, KFC has hired then fired Darrell Hammond, Norm Macdonald, and Jim Gaffigan as Sanders impersonators since last May, so it of course wasn’t implausible, but it all turned out to be a joke. After all, this is a man whose own Twitter bio maintains he’s a “liar, con man, teller of tall tales,” and has a history of tweeting “Breaking News” that could almost pass as not being absolute BS:
