Here’s some good news to kick off the weekend: Bobwhite Lunch & Supper Counter — arguably one of the greatest places in New York to eat fried chicken — has expanded to the West Village. It opens tonight at 57 Seventh Avenue South, between Bleecker and Morton Streets. At the moment, it’s a dinner-only restaurant, open from 5 to 10 p.m. Go forth and stuff your face with grilled Pimento cheese, sweet tea, and pecan-pie bread pudding, because it’s Friday and you deserve it.
