A 12-Year-Old Chopped Junior Contestant Now Has Her Own Cooking Show

Superstar.
Superstar.

Fans desperate for a baby Barefoot Contessa may finally have their fix: Janie Wilson, a 12-year-old Massachusetts girl who whipped up a jelly bean–mussels salad as a competitor on this first season of Chopped Junior, has been given her own cooking show on Peabody TV called The Three Js’ and That Guy’s Kitchen.

The Three Js’ and That Guy’s Kitchen, as it’s called a little cumbersomely, has released two episodes so far featuring an apron-and-toqued Janie as she does things like prepare chicken in a biscuit or source apples for applesauce in a recurring segment called “Snack Attack.”

In an essay for the Boston Globe, she says she’s already had to “[kick] my parents out of the kitchen” at the Wilson residence, so she’s definitely got that entrepreneurial knack.
