Eighty-three-year-old hot-dog institution Papaya King will expand to Brooklyn for the first time ever, with the new store expected to open in December. The opening of the shop, which will be located at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Nevins Street, is more great news for Downtown Brooklyn: As you may recall, Katz’s Deli recently confirmed that it’ll expand for the first time as well, through a stall at the forthcoming DeKalb Market. That’s scheduled for the fall of 2016.
