Mark it down: The Queens International Night Market will reopen in downtown Jamaica, Queens, on September 5. Modeled after the famous Taiwanese night markets that founder John Wang visited as a child, the market, which closed up shop in Corona on August 15, will reopen at 90th Avenue and 168th Street in a 100,000-square-foot parking lot with food, music, and games. How many vendors from the Market’s eclectic freshmen class will follow Wang to Jamaica isn’t yet clear, but he’s currently accepting applications. The market will stay open through October 31.
