Starbucks Will Soon Sell Fancy French Cookies

Major upgrade.
Major upgrade.

Mere days after announcing its breakup with La Boulange (the company it acquired in 2012 for $100 million), the coffee giant has announced a partnership with another bakery: Michel et Augustin. This is great news, as the cookies at Paris-based Michel et Augustin are internationally beloved. To start, they’ll only be available at 25 Manhattan locations of Starbucks, but France and U.K. outposts might follow suit. Look out for sables, butter cookies, squares with dark chocolate and sea salt, and puff palmiers made with pure butter in stores soon.
