The Clocktower, Stephen Starr’s New Hotel Restaurant, Opens on Saturday

Here’s the latest high-profile hotel restaurant: This Saturday, Stephen Starr’s the Clocktower will open inside the New York Edition hotel right on Madison Square Park. Starr’s partner is British chef Jason Atherton, who earned a Michelin star for Pollen Street Social in London. His menu at the Clocktower is reminiscent of the NoMad’s: There are a few extravagant options — $125 dry-aged côte de boeuf with bone-marrow jus, $54 roasted Dover sole — as well as plenty of more casual (but still quite elegant) options, like $23 macaroni and cheese with ox cheek and morels, and $21 uni risotto.

The restaurant, on the second floor of the hotel overlooking the park, includes three dining rooms, a billiards room, and a bar. Since it’s a hotel restaurant, it’ll be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Take a look at some of the food:
