Saturday was chef Art Smith’s #101GayWeddings bash during the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, and the giant ceremony — announced by Smith the day after Florida lifted its ban on same-sex marriage — looked ready-made for a Food Network special: Chopped’s Ted Allen was on hand; Ace of Cake’s Duff Goldman brought the seven-tier cake; and none other than Guy Fieri donned an appropriately demure, flame-less suit to serve as the event’s officiant.

The AP reports the final tally of people who took part didn’t quite hit Smith’s goal of 101, a number he chose specifically because he wanted a 101 Dalmatians theme that would shame vocal gay-marriage critic Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. (“We have our own Cruella De Vil,” he said.)
