New York’s culinary editor Gillian Duffy has put together an especially appealing roster of chefs and cocktail-makers for this year’s New York Taste, which goes down on November 10. Chefs who are cooking at the 16th annual event include Jamie Bissonnette and Ken Oringer of Toro, Marcus Glocker of Bâtard, Paul Liebrandt of the Elm, and Red Farm’s Joe Ng. Several of the city’s best bartenders will be there, shaking and stirring drinks, and pastry chefs like Jennifer Yee of Lafayette and Gramercy Tavern’s Miro Uskokovic will bring their best dessert game. As mentioned earlier, a portion of the evening’s proceeds benefit City Harvest.
Right now through 11 a.m. on November 5, you can enter to win a pair of VIP tickets on Grub Street’s Facebook page. The upgrade gets you and a guest an additional hour of tasting, access to the VIP lounge, and a gift bag. Head on over to the event’s Taste site for rules and details, or over here to enter right now.
