Il Buco Will Celebrate 20th Anniversary With an Incredible Lineup of Guest Chefs

Donna Lennard opened il Buco as an antiques store in 1994, and now her esteemed Italian restaurant is 20 years old. To honor the occasion, a few notable alumni will return to the Bond Street kitchen for a series of special dinners. From September 15 to 21, il Buco will welcome back Buvette’s Jody Williams (Monday, September 15), Porsena’s Sara Jenkins (16), former il Buco Alimentari chef Justin Smillie (17), Christopher Lee (18), Estela’s Ignacio Mattos (20), and Francis Mallman (21), Christopher Lee (18). Each dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. and costs $125 (plus $50 for wine-pairing option) — and there also tickets available for a $50 aperitivo hour, from 6 to 7 p.m., with wine and cicchetti.
