Hudson Market Debuts This Fall; Fools Gold’s Opening Party

• Hudson Market will open this fall at 303 Tenth Avenue, near the West 28th Street entrance to the High Line. A collaboration between 19-year-old chef Greg Grossman and Bread & Butter chain owner Terence Park, Hudson Market will have an organic groceries and produce, a coffee bar, and a vegetarian-focused restaurant. Fools Gold will open at 145 E Houston St. tonight, with a grand opening party starting at 5 p.m. There will be a bootlegged keg from Russian River Pliny the Elder, a watermelon smash cocktail on tap, and Sigmund’s pretzels, and more. [Grub Street]

Empellón Taquería will host another Taco Tasting dinner on August 11, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The $55 per person menu includes six summer tacos, like summer squash with pickled shrimp pico de gallo, plus a free margarita upon arrival.
