One yakitori restaurant in heatwave-racked Japan thinks it’s come up with a suitable refreshment in the form of these savory meat popsicles. Zenyaren freezes grilled chicken skewers in molds of flavorless collagen for a frightening dish resembling Jurassic amber, or at least your Aunt Ethel’s infamous aspics, then serves them on a bed of mixed greens for a little roughage. These things are apparently “massively popular,” but we’re probably just going to wait for the inevitable ramen popsicle to happen. [Yahoo News UK]
