
It turns out that some 400,000 people watched Arby’s epic-length ad for its Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich — the fast-food menu item that has trickle-down brisket-nomic effects throughout the beef industry — for an average of 38 minutes per person. In other words, one and a third arguably more riveting Big Bang Theory reruns. Arby’s says it was “blown away” by the results of the video, now preserved in all its 780-minute glory on YouTube for posterity. Spoiler alert: The brisket gets smoked.
