Take note of a restaurant switcheroo: Kerry Diamond and Rob Newton are relocating Nightingale 9 to the Seersucker space, and opening a brand-new, more casual Southern restaurant at 345 Smith Street (Nightingale 9’s original home). Wilma Jean, named after Newton’s grandmother, has a menu that includes a fried-bologna sandwich, fried chicken on a stick, Cheddar-cheese grits, and cornmeal-crusted oysters. Tonight and tomorrow, it’ll be open from 6 to 10 p.m., and then moving forward, between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. [Earlier]
