Despite the much-publicized results of two separate investigations, the family of 3-year-old Victoria Wilcher have not budged with their claim that an employee at a Jackson, Mississippi, location chased them out because her face was “disrupting customers,” so now they’ve “unequivocally rejected,” in their attorney’s words, the $30,000 donation KFC insists belongs to them either way. “We didn’t feel it was appropriate to accept it after everything KFC has done,” they say in a statement. Victoria, who was attacked by her grandfather’s pit bulls earlier this year and sustained several injuries, is in the meantime moving along with her scheduled surgeries. [Clarion-Ledger, Related]
