On July 19 and 20, Brooklyn Flea will host its annual “Creme de la Creme” ice cream festival at its Fort Greene and Williamsburg Fleas, respectively. That’s 14 vendors and more than 50 flavors, including the Village’s goat’s-milk soft-serve spot Victory Garden and La Newyorkina, fresh off the heels of opening its “paleta speakeasy.” Expect Sam Mason’s oddball and excellent Odd Fellows flavors, and if we’re lucky, maybe Morgenstern’s will bring some of its low-tech quart-container whipped cream. Vendors who don’t have dedicated storefronts include Phin & Phebe’s, who will hopefully bring some pints of their really great Vietnamese iced coffee flavor, and, well, before brain freeze sets in, here’s the full lineup.
