Yesterday, Brian Smith and Jackie Cuscuna opened the doors to their massive second shop: a two-story, 3,600-square-foot ice-cream parlor in Gowanus, complete with a 25-seat outdoor rooftop deck, an open production kitchen, a 30-seat event space, and 24 flavors on tap — including a crazy new flavor. It’s located on the corner of Union and Nevins Streets — conveniently next door to the Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club. Take a look at the glorious shop (and ice cream, of course), straight ahead.
