The family of a 3-year-old who was allegedly asked to leave a Mississippi KFC with her grandmother because her scars were upsetting customers has received an apology and a $30,000 donation from the restaurant group, which says it is investigating the incident. Victoria Wilcher lost an eye and was left with a partially paralyzed face after being attacked by three pit bulls near her grandfather’s house in April, and has since undergone several surgeries. News of the alleged incident at the fast-food chain led to the creation of a Go Fund Me campaign that has so far raised $115,000 to offset Wilcher’s medical bills. [UPI]
