A Maryland mom says that she and her two kids got an unsolicited dime bag with their order at Sonic while on the way home from an otherwise ordinary trip to the library. Carla McFarland complained to management after she discovered a fragrant plastic baggy with her kids’ chicken strips and fries. After she complained, the store’s manager helpfully told the mom that an employee said it had slipped from her apron, then reassured all the local news stations that said individual had been terminated.
McFarland indicates she’s also unhappy that some of her Facebook friends have since tried to make light of the dank situation. “I think that’s why everyone thinks it’s so funny, because it’s marijuana and it’s going to be legalized,” she told the local news. “It could have been crack. It could have been cocaine in that little baggie.” [News-Post]
