“New Ownership Under Remodel Thank You” reads a sign that’s now taped to the front door at Preserve24, the year-old, bi-level combined art installation and restaurant space on East Houston Street that featured both a farm-to-table menu and a giant wood-burning oven that looked like a rusty submersible salvaged from the pages of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. It’s unclear if the new owners will keep the jumbo wood saw decor, the oyster bar built atop a dinghy, or the back-bar made of baby grand pianos. [Bowery Boogie, Related]
