Chuck Schumer must be happy: Last week, the New York State Senate voted to ban Palcohol, a kind of alcohol in powdered form, outright. Even though there may be some people out there clamoring for alcoholic drinks in just-add-water form, the FDA may never actually approve the product. If it does, it won’t be welcomed in South Carolina, Vermont, and Alaska, either. For now, it looks like you’re going to have to go to Jersey for all your ultraconvenient, Kamikaze-in-a-foil-pouch needs. [NYS Senate, Related]
