A restaurant that ventured on a “journey through the rural areas of old Latin America and Spain” via Essex Street has apparently come to a sobering end in the form of a notice of Marshal’s Legal Possession. Bowery Boogie reports the planned all-day “general store” component never actually opened, and the bar had “morphed into another neighborhood nuisance” that blasted Ace of Base songs at night.
