A second location of Miss Lily’s has opened in the former 7A space, with an outpost of Melvin’s Juice Box and a West Indian-record-store-themed gallery and boutique. Chef Adam Schop, formerly the executive chef of Stephen Starr’s Le Diplomate in Washington, D.C., and the chef and partner of Nuela in New York, will cook Miss Lily’s classics like jerk chicken and escovitch fish, as well as a special 7A Burger and barbecue-roasted pork shoulder. Unlike the Houston Street location, this Miss Lily’s outpost has a full bar, complete with a frozen daiquiri slushy machine.
