Congratulations to the Next Food Network Star season-eight winner Justin Warner, who’s of course also the chef and co-owner of the quirky-cheeky Bed-Stuy restaurant Do or Dine. Flatiron Books, a new division of Macmillan, will publish Warner’s first cookbook, called The Laws of Cooking … And How to Break Them in the fall of 2015. It will no doubt cover the restaurant’s foie gras doughnuts and whiskey shots, which are equal parts dive-bar grunge and modernist flourish. [Related]
