Watch Jon Stewart Take on New York Senate’s Quest to Make Yogurt the State Snack

Last night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart deftly took apart the riveting proceedings that took place earlier this week in Albany, in which the New York State Senate floated a proposal to make yogurt the official state snack. The plan was devised by fourth-graders and was ultimately approved, but only after a riveting, 40-minute debate that touched upon pretzels, the true nature of “snacks,” and lactose intolerance. “I’m going to be honest with you guys right here. I’m sure the fourth-graders didn’t even want to do this project,” says Stewart.
