Network executives confirm that producers Jake Kasdan (New Girl) and Nahnatchka Khan (Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23) will bring the childhood exploits of TV host and Baohaus chef Eddie Huang to life in the forthcoming show Fresh Off the Boat, based on Huang’s 2013 memoir of the same name. Here’s how the show is logged: “It’s the 90s and 12 year old, hip-hop loving Eddie (Hudson Yang) just moved to suburban Orlando from DC’s Chinatown with his parents (Randall Park and Constance Wu).
