New owners are taking over Dok Suni’s on First Avenue, and workers at the 21-year-old restaurant confirm they’ll be shutting down permanently in just a couple of weeks. Dok Suni’s is the sister restaurant to Do Hwa, which remains open. In the meantime, the incoming tenant will present plans in front of CB3 Manhattan’s SLA & DCA Licensing Committee next week. The prospective menu is focused on Korean flavors and includes things like pork-belly buns, crispy pig’s ear with jellyfish, and bulgogi sliders. [EV Grieve]
