Yesterday, it seemed as if an incoming construction project headed for a Lower East Side parcel consisting of 50-62 Clinton Street was directly at odds with the future of wd~50, Wylie Dufresne’s pioneering modernist restaurant. When asked about the rumor last night at Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs party, Dufresne smiled. “We’re fine,” he said. “We’re not going anywhere! Don’t worry.” [Related]
