Less than a week after the East Village location of South Brooklyn Pizza was seized by the City Marshal and put up for rent, the Park Slope branch of James McGown’s local pie chainlet on 1st Street near Seventh Avenue has also seemingly folded. McGown surmounted earlier financial and legal woes, however, so it’s a fair bet that the pizza dough will rise again, perhaps in a new storefront. [Here’s Park Slope]
