A beer bar focusing on local breweries and custom hot dogs made by the Brooklyn Hot Dog Company is opening on the Brooklyn waterfront at 121 Columbia Street this summer, DNAinfo reports. Co-owner Ryan Watson, who worked at the Frying Pan, says that the Hop Shop will include a “classic beef, pepperoni dog and Buffalo dog” among its lineup. Meanwhile, amNY has news that Rippers will reopen on Rockaway Beach May 17. Co-owner Brent Young says to expect more of an emphasis on full-fledged, meaty dinners this season. [amNY, DNAInfo]
