Oregon Reverses Ban on Edibles Sales at State Marijuana Dispensaries

The state says it has reconsidered its proposed ban on selling sweets, candies, and other pot-laced snacks at dispensaries as long as the pot-laced food is not shaped like toys, made to look like candy, and doesn’t have bright colors that might otherwise be “attractive to minors.” The new rules also require all weed-infused foods to be packaged and sold in opaque, childproof containers, which is great news for anyone in the business of manufacturing ugly Tupperware knockoffs that are nearly impossible to open, but bad news for the edibles producers who cannot find any such product.
