For its next issue, Lucky Peach says it got editor David Chang filing from the parking lot outside the Iron Bowl, Prune chef and owner Gabrielle Hamilton singing the praises of celery stalks, and writer Padgett Powell stewing squirrels. The theme “All You Can Eat” apparently also extends to homophones ewe and Yu, as in the grazing animal and masterful chef Yu Bo, respectively. Other topics at hand include prison food in Indiana, wedding receptions in the Republic of Georgia, and something on “how people stuff themselves at sex parties.” The issue, the food magazine’s eleventh, hits newsstands (and Momofuku Milk Bar stores) May 20.
