Aldea chef and owner George Mendes will debut a stall called 100 Sardines at this year’s Mad. Sq. Eats, Eater reports, which will presumably take the modernist-leaning chef’s food a few notches down with its menu of “Portuguese-influenced soups, salads, sandwiches, and rice dishes made with both meat and seafood.” In other news for the outdoor market, LES restaurant Pig and Khao has joined the lineup, which also includes return vendors Roberta’s, Red Hook Lobster Pound, and the Cannibal.
