David Letterman announced today at a taping of the Late Show that he will retire in 2015. Our friends at Vulture note that, with more than three decades in the talk-show business, Letterman “has the record for longest working late-night host in TV history.” Of course, several world-famous (and less-famous) chefs were among the thousands of guests who went on air, cooking everything from scrambled eggs to ice-cream concoctions made to look like Idaho potatoes.
