Major but perhaps not-so-surprising changes have taken place in the kitchen at La Cenita, EMM Group’s six-month-old replacement for Abe & Arthur’s in the Meatpacking District: Not only is Craft and La Esquina chef Akhtar Nawab no longer behind the line, but Eater notes that Chris Leahy is now cooking “a steakhouse menu with Latin Influences,” a sharp departure from the venue’s original casual Mexican-food format.
