Starbucks, with its less-than-smart copycats and name-taking antics, just sort of lends itself to comedic fodder these days, but this latest prank by funny person Jena Kingsley fuses the annoying (a clipboard) with the straight-up diabolical (coffee deprivation) in a really thorough way. Straight ahead, Kingsley sets up stanchions outside a Manhattan shop, turns people away who aren’t “on the list,” and generally creates havoc — “So she can get in but I can’t?” “Well, she’s hot” — before getting the boot from managers.
